Brian was an avid listener to Radio Caroline North and was signed up to join Radio North Sea International in November 1972 – but never made it onto the air, due to very rough weather. He does, though, now have a long and established CV in the radio industry. Brian joined Liverpool’s Radio City in 1976 where he spent 3 years.
He then joined Wrexham’s Marcher Sound upon its launch in 1983 where Brian specialized in album tracks (BC’s Album Tracks) until he pitched the idea of The Weekend Wing Ding in 1988. Brian became Program Controller at KCR in Prescot before moving to Radio Maldwyn in Newtown where he stayed for 10 years. These days he can be heard on various stations, including The Radio Ship, Calon FM and ABC Oldies.
