RADIO ACTION
Big Daddy Donald Roberts and the swinging men from the Action Den, bring you GOLDEN OLDIES from the studios of Radio Action. Listen to some of the greatest music of all time with emphasis on the '60's and '70's. During the Radio Action ROCK AND TALK program, Al Murphy visits on the 20's with RETROSPECTIVE - a 20/20 look back on issues of interest to Al, and hopefully you as well. Al also returns later in the program with SPORT DE JOUR - a look at everything "sport." Michael Godin from Treasure Island Oldies stops by at the top of the hour with ROCK AND ROLL NEWS and James Murphy, all the way from Cambridge England, provides listeners with spectacular "choons" during his MISSING IN ACTION segment heard at the 25-minute mark of the first hour of the show. Yours truly, Big Daddy fills in all the gaps with light banter and awesome music. Radio Action - ROCK, ROLL AND REMEMBER is a program of mostly music that will keep you rocking and rolling - a fast paced two hours of some of the greatest hits of all time. And Radio Action - SOUND TRACK OF THE SIXTIES looks at that incredible decade of music, featuring all the hits of our youth in a fast-moving hour (plus) of survey countdowns. It is a blast! Rock on, and on, and on....and thanks for listening.......... Don (aka Big Daddy Donald Roberts)

THE CLASSIC CHART RUNDOWN
Hi all, My name is Dave Marley. When it comes to music, it literally rules my life. I have been DJing since the early ’80s, but it wasn’t until the mid 90’s that I became interested in radio presenting. I love and respect all types of good music, right from as far back as the classic ’50s through to the indie-pop ’90s. Unfortunately, I didn’t really enjoy much of what music had to offer after the ’90s ended. I grew up listening to the radio as a young lad and started collecting vinyl at the mere age of 5 years old in the early ’70s. I would save my pocket money up to buy records as often as possible, and even now, 50 years on, I still collect music and I’m running out of space to put my vinyl collection I was always a massive fan of the original “Pick of the Pop” presented by the late Alan “Fluff” Freeman back in the day, and I always wanted to take a stab at doing my own take on a vintage chart countdown radio show. So here it is.. I will be doing just that right here on this station, with my show “The Classic Chart Rundown”. I'll be bringing you a random Top 20 Chart countdown from anywhere between 1957 to 1989. It's a real nostalgia trip every time and if you're like me, a true lover of music, it won't take you long to fall in love with the show and all the personal memories it holds for every individual. I hope you can join me from time to time. If you would like to catch up with me on Facebook, come and join "The Classic Chart Rundown" group. https://www.facebook.com/groups/theclassicchartrundown If you enjoy listening to my show, feel free to buy me a coffee White, no sugar :) https://www.buymeacoffee.com/davemarley Email: theclassicchartrundown@gmail.com See you on-air.. RICHIE’S DOO WOP MEMORIES
Richie Sullivan email Richie Richie is from New York, and has been a doo wop fan since his pre-teens (we won't say how far back that goes). Richie use to sing in an accapella group as a teenager. One of the members of that group (The Creations) went on to fame as a member of a 60's band. Another formed a group in the 60's with a former member of the Imaginations. Richie once sang the lead to "Gloria" on stage with Don and Juan doing the harmonies (if only he could still sound that way). Richie now lives in upstate NY, and is a self-employed therapist.
